1. Are all of Clam Bay's facilities included in the price? Yes, when you book Clam Bay you and only your party have exclusive use to the property and everything that is on it.

2. Will I need to Bring Anything? Other than your suitcase....probably not. Clam Bay has everything you would need for a long term stay. There are 3 Full Kitchens, which include dishes, pots and pans, microwaves, fridges, stoves, ovens, and cookware, as well as 3 partial kitchens located in the cabins. All linens i.e. Towels, blankets, etc are also included. As well there is a large laundry facility that contains washers, dryers, ironing boards, etc.

3. Is there transportation to Vancouver? Victoria? The Other Gulf Islands? Yes, Pender Island has both a ferry and float plane terminal. Please refer to www.bcferries.co and www.seairseaplanes.com for rates and times.

4. What Amenities are Located on Pender Island? Pretty much anything you would need is on Pender Island. There is a grocery store, RCMP, Community Hall, bakery, hairdresser, esthetician, massage therapist, shopping, many restaurants, and coffee shops. 5. Once I get to Pender Island how will I get to Clam Bay? A representative will be at the ferry and or float plane terminal to greet you and transport your party to Clam Bay, if required. 6. Is there catering available for special events? Clam Bay works with a select number of caters and the packages reflect their prices. The caters want to accommodate your parties needs as much as possible, therefore they are more than happy to work one on one with you to design a menu that will fit your needs. 7. I am planning outdoor activities when I am staying at Clam Bay, but I am worried about rain. How often does it rain? Surprisingly Pender Island is one of the driest places in the country. Pender Island only gets 17% of the rainfall that Seattle or Vancouver receives. The climate is described as "Mediterranean" which means mild temperatures and a dry spring and summer. If precipitation does occur it is between the November and April months. Average Annual Rainfall is 20 - 30 inches. 8. What is the Average Temperature? Winter - 0 degrees Celsius Summer - 25 degrees Celsius 9. Is there Internet Hookup? TVS? Stereos? Clam Bay has a number of TVs, DVD players, and stereos. We also have wireless internet. 10. Is there a Fitness Facility nearby? We have an onsite gym which contains both cardio and weight training equipment. 11. If I need something from town (ex. Groceries, medicine) how will I get it? A representative from Clam Bay will be available to service all your needs and can either go retrieve a certain item for you or can drive you anywhere you wish to go.
