Perfect for Weddings
The wedding surpassed our most optimistic hopes. We couldn't
have picked a better location than Clam Bay. Friends and family from all over the
world kept commenting on what an amazing venue it was. We were glad that even if
they didn't manage to see any of the rest of the west coast, they got all the highlights
from a few days on Pender, which made the distance they had traveled worth it -
a destination wedding so to speak!
My favorite compliment was from a group of my unmarried friends who declared they were quite distraught. Their dreams of having "the perfect wedding" had now been dashed as I had beat them to it! :-) Seriously though, Brent and I truly felt that for us, that was our perfect wedding. The only disappointment was having to leave!
Thank you so much to all the staff at Clam Bay for facilitating our enjoyment of such a beautiful place. Maybe one day the current owners will want to sell and Brent and I can finally win the lottery... ah what a dream!

The Ideal Getaway
Thank you so much for providing a 'magical' place for
one of the best trips our group has taken to the Gulf Islands. The Clam Bay Farm
exceeded our expectations and really, there aren't superlatives adequate enough
to describe your beautiful, wonderful place. It is a paradise in every sense of
the word.
We were ooh-ing and aah-ing from the moment we arrived. We had planned on eating in local restaurants during our stay, but Clam Bay was so special, that we decided to cook almost every meal there. The kitchen was perfectly stocked to take care of a party of 12.
"We were constantly delighted by the amenities. Everything was so tastefully done--not 'over'done, but comfortable and relaxing. The cottages were adorable and it was obvious how every detail was carefully and lovingly considered. My husband and I were in the Sod Roof Cottage. He is a history 'buff' and we both loved the story of the door...and then retelling it to our group. It was so fun for all of us to tour each individual cottage. And we all came away with great ideas.
The staff were gracious and helpful. I know from my own small yard how much work it must take to provide that kind of a beautiful environment. There are a number of gardeners in our group, and we all came away inspired.
So, we can't thank you enough for creating such a ideal setting. It was perfect for enjoying each other's company, laughing a lot, relaxing, and getting inspired.
